Laura J. Kaighn, of Lady Hawke Storytelling, is a life-long educator and author. Since 1995, she has also been a professional storyteller. Laura’s interactive programs and workshops run the gamut of factual, fancy, and fun. Specialties include Native American, nature, spooky, celestial and multicultural stories. She facilitates two local writers groups and is an active member of two others. Since 1996, Laura’s also volunteered as a docent naturalist at Scotland Run Park. She lives in Gloucester County with her husband and a bevy of furry, finny, and feathery friends.
Kaighn’s published works include Earth Child: The E.D. Piper Chronicles, a YA contemporary fantasy (2013), the sequel, Earth Child: Discoveries (2017), Rabbit’s Tale & Other Rites of Passage, a nature anthology (2014), and Warrior Heart and Warrior Spirit, the first installments in her science fiction series, the Vesar Warrior Legacy (2016).
