Bob Mayers spoke on “The Forgotten Revolution in Central New Jersey-Revisiting Places of the American Revolution that have been neglected by History and the Soldiers of Washington’s Army”
Few New Jersey towns were not impacted by the war. But many details of events such as the march of the French and Continental Armies to Yorktown in 1781, the Battle of the Short Hills and the encampments at Morristown, Pompton and Middle Brook have been overlooked.
